FLOAT

FLOAT

Float

Navalu’s floats are designed for the maintenance of offshore maritime windmill farms.

The NXS24 float is authorised for navigation in the 1st maritime category.

The blueprints and construction are followed up on by the Maritime Affairs Authority and Bureau Veritas.

It was conceived and designed by Navalu with a solid, simple and efficient construction.

SEAWEED COLLECTOR SHIPS

SEAWEED COLLECTOR SHIPS

SEAWEED COLLECTOR SHIPS

All our ships are custom made to best meet our clients’ needs.

Seaweeds and alga invade the coastline surface, and in huge quantities, they can be toxic for man and metals.

In order to struggle against these seaweeds which invade our coasts, Navalu manufactures Seaweed Collector Ships for local authorities and for companies.

Each ship is equipped with a netted harvest mat made of stainless steel, with a system for filtering and automatic seaweed recuperation on the deck.

Certain companies will process the seaweed harvested as a 100% natural compost.

This compost will then be transformed into plastic or used as a source for renewable energy.

Navalu supports all environmental initiatives and would like to make this a kind of long-term aid to eliminate all pollution created by these seaweeds and alga.

F.A.Q

What are the advantages of Seaweed Collector Ships?

On each ship there is a system for filtering and automatic seaweed recuperation on the deck, with the help of a collection mat to load the seaweed, using a seaweed-sand bubbler separator.

Maximum capacity of a load of seaweed: 10 tonnes

What is the time frame for building Seaweed Collector Ships?

The time frame for building Seaweed Collector Ships can vary between 10 and 18 months depending on the dimensions and the equipment requested when the order is placed.

BIG BARGES FOR INSTALLATIONS WHICH CAN BE DISMANTLED

BIG BARGES FOR INSTALLATIONS WHICH CAN BE DISMANTLED

BIG BARGES FOR INSTALLATIONS WHICH CAN BE DISMANTLED

Our barges are conceived to have a working and storage deck surface of up to 12 metres long and up to 6 metres (over 6½ yds.) wide, to meet the user’s needs.

Very stable and solid, these unsinkable boats (8 to 10 watertight tanks) can navigate with very little water and they can support a deck load of up to 30 tonnes.

They are made of a central barge and two mobile floaters.

As such, dismantled, the ships can be easily loaded onto a lorry to go from one shipyard to the next while respecting highway traffic constraints.

Work barges are at the heart of Navalu’s shipyard as they meet BV standards for the vessel’s structure.

Our range of barges can be used with equal efficiency for work in harbours, in rivers and for work under water.

All our ships are custom made to best meet our clients’ needs.

They can be equipped with:

  • an anti-slipping deck,
  • hydraulic picks for stability during activities,
  • a crane adapted to needs of handling and work,
  • a winch adapted to traction needs,
  • a front port for loading and unloading vehicles…

F.A.Q

What are the characteristics of a dismountable barge built for works?

  • AG 4 5083 and 5086 aluminium hull and superstructure
  • Length HT: 5.500 to 12.000 metres (approximately 6 to over 13 yds.)
  • Width HT: 2.200 to 6.000 metres (almost 2½ to over 6½ yds.)
  • Depth: 0.800 to 1.200 metres (almost 1 yd.)
  • Motor: 1 x HB 250CV (184KW) max or 2 x 250CV (2x184KW) max
  • Group: Hydraulic Diesel
  • Crane: Up to 10 tonnes/metre
  • Crew: Up to 12 persons
  • Cargo: Up to 30 tonnes

What are the main advantages of a dismountable barge made for works?

  • Minimal draught
  • Big load capacity
  • Very good stability
  • Simple to use and upkeep is easy
  • 30 years of experience in the construction of these units.

AMPHIBIOUS TRACK MACHINE

AMPHIBIOUS TRACK MACHINE

AMPHIBIOUS TRACK MACHINE

All ships are custom made to best meet our clients’ needs.

The Amphibious Track Machine conceived by Navalu are adequate for places and roadways difficult to access (mud, silt, sand…).

Ideal to ride on bumpy terrain and to navigate, the amphibian vessels have two crawlers and they have a useful load capacity of 800 kg (close to 1,800 lbs.).

They were conceived for trades requiring access to places where a vehicle of this size could not otherwise go, thanks to their big wheels.

F.A.Q

What are the characteristics of a Navalu Amphibious Track Machine?
  • 4m (over 4 yds. x 1.90m (over 2 yds.)
  • 500 mm (almost 20-in.) crawlers
  • Wheels turning by Poclain hydraulic motors
  • 50 CV diesel motor
  • Rear cage for a spare motor
  • Useful load capacity of 800 kg (close to 1,800 lbs.)
  • 2 speeds
What are the main advantages of an Amphibious Track Machine?
  • Compact
  • It goes everywhere
  • All-purpose transport (road, land, sand, sea, silt..)
  • Can move in places which are difficult to access
